The Old Manse

Ian and Mary would like to welcome you to their luxurious bed and breakfast in the picturesque village of Chatton, midway between the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland Heritage Coast. The Old Manse dates back to 1873 as a former residence of the church minister. It has received a number of accolades including B and B of the Year by the Northumberland Tourist Board, a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, 5-Star Gold Award and Breakfast Award from Visit England.

We have 3 guest suites available, all named after the beautiful valleys found in the Cheviot Hills. Each has its own stylish bathroom with complimentary toiletries and bathrobes. You will also find a TV, DVD, Wifi, hairdryer and a well-stocked hospitality tray with wine glasses and cork screw. Our Harthorpe Room offers a stunning 4-poster bed.

The Old Manse has a beautiful conservatory and garden which you are welcome to relax in. We offer a variety of breakfast options including a Full English, smoked salmon and muffins. We are pleased to cater for special diets.
