The Moorings

The Moorings is a traditional stone cottage offering bed and breakfast in the beautiful loch side village of Tarbert. Formerly a fishermans cottage, it is located on the grounds of the ruins of the medieval castle with stunning views across the harbour to Loch Fyne. We are 2 minutes from some excellent eateries in the village and the start of the Kintyre Way.

Awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, our rooms offer homely decor and comfortable furnishings. All have en suite facilities, Freeview TV and hospitality tray. We have single, double, twin and family rooms some of which have stunning views across the loch. We also have laundry facilities and secure bicycle storage available. A delicious full Scottish breakfast is included in our rates and served in our breakfast room, which doubles up as guest lounge for the rest of the day.
