Burnside Lodge

Burnside Lodge is a beautiful guest house offering bed and breakfast in the unspoilt Isle of Islay. A former fishing house, you can expect uninterrupted views across to the Isle of Orsay and the Rhinns Lighthouse. We have an onsite bakery so there are always freshly made pies and cakes available!

We have 2 guestrooms, both offering en suite facilities. Trophy Room can be made into a double, twin or triple room and our Old Boathouse room is a twin room, although we can add an extra bed if needed. Both our rooms offer fantastic views across to the lighthouse. A Full Scottish breakfast is included. We can also offer a packed lunch for early risers.

The Lodge is located just outside the picturesque village of Port Wemyss with Portnahaven close by, offering a friendly pub, post office and sandy beaches. There are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities and many opportunities to observe the diverse wildlife in their natural environment.
