Cannon House Hotel

Cannon House Hotel is an elegant hotel in historic Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Dating back to 1827, the hotel was originally built as a fine gentlemans residence. Today, it offers high quality accommodation with magnificent sea views across the bay.

Bedrooms are individually-designed with stylish decor and plush furnishings. All have a private bath or shower room with TV, hairdryer and beverage tray. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. A delicious breakfast will be served to you in the morning with a choice of continental or cooked, as well as porridge, kippers, scrambled egg and salmon. Guests can also enjoy a drink from our bar.

The hotel is only a short walk from the town centre and ferry terminal, with plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops on the door step. Rothesay is a Victorian seaside resort and the main town on the east side of Bute. Dominating the shoreline amongst the glorious esplanade gardens is the Isle of Bute Discovery Centre. Other attractions include Rothesay Castle with its dungeons and Bute Museum.
