The George Hotel

National Winner of the Scottish Hotel Awards 2018, The George Hotel is set in an elegant 18th century building, offering accommodation in the loch side town of Inveraray. Dating back to 1770, The George has been lovingly refurbished to provide contemporary comforts whilst retaining its classic period features.

There are 17 guest rooms in the main hotel with a further 8 rooms in the adjacent house. All our rooms are individual in style and offer luxurious furnishings an en suite facilities. We have rooms with sea views, ones with separate sitting areas, rooms with Jacuzzi baths and even 4 poster beds. A delicious breakfast is included and served in our classic restaurant or in your room if you prefer.

Our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner offering the finest dishes using locally produced ingredients, including West Highland beef and lamb, or fresh salmon caught in the loch. Our bar offers an extensive range of wines and whiskies and you can enjoy live music on a Saturday evening. We also have 3 self-catering houses, The Barn with 4 bedrooms, The Big Wee Hoose and the Wee Hoose each with 1 bedroom.
