West Highland Way Sleeper

Offering comfortable and affordable accommodation on the West Highland Way, the West Highland Way Sleeper is an independently-run hostel in the Bridge of Orchy in the Black Mountain Estate. Adjacent to the railway station, and surrounded by the stunning scenery, it is ideal for walkers or cyclists wanting to explore the area.

The accommodation comprises a mixed dormitory of 10 bunks and a twin room with showers available. Towel hire is available and luggage drop-off can also be arranged. We do not have self-catering facilities, although meals and packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangement.

The West Highland Way stretches 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains. Along the route, you will pass by some iconic attractions and beautiful scenery, including Mugdock Country Park, Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond, Glen Falloch, Strathfillan, Rannoch Moor, Buachaille Etive Mor, Glencoe, Devils Staircase, Loch Leven, Lairigmor and Glen Nevis.
