Calder House

Calder House Hotel is an elegant hotel situated in the coastal village of Seascale. Close to the beach and offering stunning views across the Irish Sea, we are an excellent place to enjoy a well-deserved break.

Each of our rooms has been individually designed to offer a comfortable ambience, with some having spectacular sea views. We have single, double, twin and family rooms available all with free Wifi, beverage tray, hairdryer, TV, telephone, and ironing facilities. A delightful Full English breakfast is included and we have half board rates if required. There is also boutique-style serviced accommodation across the road at No.3 Caldersyde, offering 6 stylish en suite bedrooms and a small communal kitchen.

La Vista Brasserie offers sumptuous lunches and evening meals, with special grill nights every Tuesday and Thursday. You can also enjoy a real ale or sample one of our many gins from the bar. The hotel is only a few minutes from the golf course and beautiful sandy beach. Close to the many picturesque sites of the Lake District, including Scafell Pike and Wastwater, we welcome many walkers, cyclists, as well as families on holiday and business travellers.
