The Glen Guest House

The Glen Guest House is a welcoming, family-run bed and breakfast offering a comfortable place to stay in the village of Oxenholme in the Lake District. Known as the Guest House under The Helm, we are situated in a rural area with views over the fells right down to Morecambe Bay. We have single, double, twin and family rooms all with en suite facilities, complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries, TV, hairdryer and well-stocked beverage tray. Our suites offer lounge areas with comfortable sofa and aromatherapy oils and candles. Pets are allowed in some of our rooms by prior arrangement. A delicious Full English breakfast is included and served in our recently refurbished dining room.

The guest house has free parking, secure cycle and motorbike storage and drying facilities. We are within walking distance to Oxenholme Train Station and a nearby pub, and only a 2 and half miles from historic Kendal with traditional shops, restaurants and museums.
