Dunmail House

Dunmail House is a traditional Lakeland stone house offering bed and breakfast in the lovely village of Grasmere. With beautiful gardens and panoramic views of the surrounding fells, it is a pleasant and peaceful place to stay. Your lovely hostess Shirley is welcoming, warm and extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble and she goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and a home from home!

There are beautifully furnished guest rooms with comfortable bedding, complimentary toiletries, wide screen TV, DVD, beverage tray and free Wifi. As well as our garden, we also have a cosy guest sitting room with sofas, easy chairs, TV and DVD for you to relax in. We will serve you a delicious breakfast from an extensive and ward-winning menu that includes a hearty Lakeland or Vegetarian Platter with all the trimmings, or American-style pancakes with our own home-made preserves. We can also provide packaged lunches by prior arrangement.
