The Sun

Surrounded by the beautiful Lake District and guarded by the Old Man of Coniston fell, it is a stunning location to enjoy a relaxing holiday or convenient stop over.

Dating back to the Victorian times, you can still see the original stone walls and oak beams. Our rooms are tastefully decorated with en suite facilities, TV, free Wifi, toiletries and hospitality tray. We have single, twin, double and family rooms with a Lakeland breakfast included in your rate. Guests are welcome to relax in our pub and enjoy a drink from our well stocked bar. We offer great food from a menu of traditional pub favourites, which can be served in either our bar or conservatory.
