Rothay Garth Bed and Breakfast is a stunning Lakeland slate house offering 4-star rated accommodation in the beautiful town of Ambleside. Family-run and surrounded by fabulous grounds and delightful mountain views; it is a haven for rest and relaxation.

Our rooms are elegantly dressed, all with en suite facilities, direct dial telephone, TV, DVD, hairdryer and beverage tray. We have twin, double, king size, family, dog friendly, 4 poster and ground floor rooms available. Guest are free to relax in the lounge, conservatory or gardens. A hearty Full Lakeland platter or vegetarian platter will be available in our breakfast room or conservatory in the morning.

Rothay is ideal for all the amenities that Ambleside has to offer and is only a short walk from Lake Windermere with many fantastic walks around and about. We have drying room and boot room for your muddy and wet gear!
