Imperial Hotel

The Imperial Hotel is a family-run hotel with pub in the centre of Merthyr Tydfil. Close to the shops, bars and restaurants and the delightful Brecon Beacons, it provides an excellent location for your holiday. We are family-friendly and welcome canine companions!

Our rooms have recently been refurbished to provide comfortable furnishings with en suite facilities. We can accommodate single, couples and families with all our rooms having TV and tea and coffee making facilities. You can also opt to have one of our delicious breakfasts to start your day.

We have free off-road parking and are also within walking distance of the bus and train station. There is so much to explore around the area with Taff Trail nearby for walkers and cyclists, a plethora of rivers and reservoirs to fish and climbing opportunities in the mountains or at the local indoor climbing centre.
