Great House Hotel

The Great House Hotel is a Grade II listed building dating back to the mid-16th century in the picturesque village of Laleston, Bridgend; just 10 minutes from the seaside town of Porthcawl and 25 minutes equidistant between Cardiff and Swansea. With excellent accommodation and an award-winning restaurant it provides an excellent place for a getaway.

Our restaurant is managed by celebrity chef Tommy Heaney who was a finalist on the BBCs Great British Menu. Offering elegant dishes and fine dining experiences, our restaurant has also won Hotel Restaurant of the Year for Wales in 2016 and 2017. Our en suite guest rooms offer 4-poster or sleigh beds and have all the amenities one would expect, including Freeview television and a Wifi, luxury toiletries from Myddfai - Awel-Y-Mor, large fluffy white towels and bathrobes, 300 thread luxury crisp white sheets, coffee and tea making facilities and a trouser press.
