The Old Barn Bed And Breakfast

The Old Barn is an attractive 17th century stone cottage offering 3-Star bed and breakfast in Penmark, in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. Penmark is a rural village south-west of Barry. Family owned, you can expect personal service and fine attention to detail.

Our rooms have a cosy feel with exposed oak beams and stone walls mixed with modern furnishings and fittings. We have a double and twin room with en suite facilities, Freeview TV, free Wifi, and beverage tray. You can also use our kitchen facilities. A delicious full Welsh breakfast is included, and we can arrange continental breakfast if you need to leave early.

There is friendly pub next door if you need a relaxing drink in the evening. The Vale of Glamorgan provides lots of countryside to explore and river walks and the popular seaside town of Barry Island offers a beach, amusement park and seaside shops. We are very close to Cardiff Airport if you need a stopover.
