The Black Lion Guest House is a friendly family-owned hotel in the centre of the charming town of Abergavenny. Awarded 4-Stars by the Welsh Tourist Board, owner Mike will ensure you have an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We have 5 rooms available, all offering homely style decor and comfortable furnishings with free Wifi, hospitality tray and 24-hour room service. We have single and twin rooms plus a family room with en suite facilities and sofa. We can provide additional cots if needed. A delicious breakfast is included, with many options to choose from, including a Full Welsh or vegetarian breakfast. We can also provide evening meals and packed lunches on request.

The Black Lion has car parking available and we are only 5 minutes from the railway station. There is so much to do around Abergavenny with the gardens, museums and festivals throughout the year. We welcome cyclists and hikers who are exploring the scenery, and we can offer free pick-ups around the local area in our people carrier.
