Wharfingers Cottage

Wharfingers Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed property lovingly renovated to offer self-catering holiday accommodation on a private wharf overlooking the market town of Abergavenny. Llanfoist Wharf is a tranquil spot nestled amongst 30 acres of broadleaf woodland on the side of the Blorenge mountain, located in both the Brecon Beacons National Park and Blaenavon World Heritage Site. Owners Alasdair and Sarah Kirkpatrick live in the adjacent 19th century warehouse. The canal and garden provide a stunning location in which to relax and watch the world go by.

Carefully restored, the cottage provides accommodation for up to 6 guests. over three floors. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor including a master bedroom with en suite facilities. On the middle floor is the family bathroom with large shower and double ended bath. There’s a spacious lounge with comfy sofas, wood burner and fabulous views across the mountains. The ground floor houses a well-equipped kitchen with a classic range stove, bespoke cabinetry and breakfast bar with additional seating overlooking the grounds. The dining room with wood burning stove and farmhouse table is a fabulous space for entertaining and for planning the next day’s adventures. Outside is a patio area, with barbeque and fire pit; the lawns have open access to the canal. There is Wifi throughout and pets are welcome.
