The George Hotel

The George Hotel is an attractive former coaching inn dating back to the 18th century in the Yorkshire town of Easingwold. Awarded 4-Stars by Visit England and the AA, plus a Breakfast Award; today, it is a family-run hotel with comfortable accommodation and dining.

We have rooms decorated in a contemporary style as well as those with more classic decor, to cater for a variety of tastes. We have double, twin and family rooms; all with en suite facilities, TV, direct dial telephone and beverage tray. Our bar is a welcoming place to sit and enjoy local real ale and you can expect an award-winning breakfast in the morning, all freshly prepared and cooked to order. Later on, you are welcome to sample some delicious classics in our Market Place Restaurant or for more informal dining, our Courtyard. Eastwold is a pretty town with cobbled market square and old buildings. There are old independent shops, coffee shops and a market every Friday. We are also convenient for the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire coast.
