The Shoes is situated in Sunderland Road, Gilesgate, ideal for those wishing to stay in a family-run Durham bed and breakfast close to the city centre but without paying city centre prices. Billy, the owner, is a superb host who cannot do enough for his guests! The Shoes has a fully licenced bar, 3 large flat screen TVs, large beer garden, 3 luxury letting bedrooms 2 en-suite and 1 with private shower and WC, plus darts, domino and poker leagues, live entertainment twice monthly and Sunday night quiz and bingo.

There are 3 twin bedrooms all beautifully furnished and spotless! 2 rooms have en suite bathrooms, the other has a private shower and WC, wall mounted flat screen TV with Freeview and tea/coffee making facilities.
