A family-run business, The Gilesgate Moor Hotel is located just a little over a mile from the historic city of Durham, near to all the main bus routes to and from the city centre. We are within 1 mile of junction 62 on the A1(M) and there is excellent shopping close by. There is off-road parking at the front of the building for approximately 6 cars and we can offer secure parking at the rear for bicycles.

Our traditional and friendly bar offers a selection of beers, lagers, spirits, wines and soft drinks. Our rooms, single, twin, double and family-sized come with en suite facilities and have flat screen TV with Freeview channels, a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wifi. We can offer ironing facilities if needed. Our great prices include a Full English or Continental breakfast.
