Newgate House

Newgate House is a comfortable place to stay in Barnard Castle, offering 2 good sized guest bedrooms and being pet and smoke free throughout. Situated between the Bowes Museum and the Buttermarket all the attractions of Barnard Castle are in easy walking distance and it's a great base from which to explore glorious Teesdale.

The bed in the DOUBLE is a king and there is a smart TV, tea and coffee tray, comfy chairs and small desk. Guests in this room have private use of the main bathroom next door which has a large roll top bath and a double shower.

Breakfast is cooked to order and can be varied to suit you, from full English, to scrambled eggs with salmon, to bacon and sausage sandwich or avocado on sourdough - whatever you prefer with a little consultation we can fix you up.
