The Painswick

The Painswick is a boutique hotel and restaurant in a magnificent 18th century mansion in the quaint old village of Painswick in the heart of the Cotswolds. Listed in the Good Hotel Guide 2018 with magnificent views, our 16 bedrooms are stylishly decorated with pastel shades and vintage upscaled furniture, with en suite facilities. We have small cosy rooms for intimacy and romance, big rooms offering comfort and luxury and our grand Georges suite, with 4 poster bed, private sitting room, log burner, roll-top bath and balcony. We also offer spa treatments using products from the Elemis range.

Our restaurant offers the finest in fusion delights from our head chef Jamie who trained under Gary Rhodes. You can choose to sit inside or eat alfresco on the terrace. We also do quintessential afternoon tea and traditional hearty breakfasts. There are special vegetarian menus and we can provide private dining for up to 16 guests. The Painswick can offer the complete hospitality package for weddings, business conferences or special events.
