Binks Cottage

Binks Cottage is a self-catering holiday home in the picturesque village of Thornley, near Wolsingham and Tow Law in Weardale, County Durham. The cottage is surrounded by the stunning scenery of the North Pennines. We have been awarded a 4-Star Gold Award by Visit England.

Decorated to a high standard with the original oak beams and stone fireplace still evident, it provides contemporary living with rustic charm. There is master double bedroom, twin bedroom, lounge with TV, DVD and wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and laundry facilities, dining area, storage for bicycles, free Wifi and a garden area with barbecue.

We can also provide stables for horses, kennels for dogs and a baby sitting service for children. There are plenty of bridleways and footpaths around the area with the village of Tow Law a mile away offering local shops, cafes and pubs. Owner Amanda will ensure you have a welcome food pack on your arrival so you do not have to worry about finding the shops straight away.
