Angel and Royal Hotel

Dated back to the 13th Century, this is probably one of the oldest inns in England. With visits from various monarchs through the centuries, you too can be expected to be treated like royalty. Plus we welcome your pets by prior agreement.

Each of the 31 rooms are unique offering tradition with modern comfort. All have Freeview TV, hospitality tray, room service and wifi. We have standard double rooms, luxury rooms with 4 poster beds for that extra special luxury, and superior rooms ideal for families with additional beds and a separate lounge area. As well as enjoying a delicious breakfast which you can either enjoy in our lounge or your own room, you can also enjoy lunch, dinner and afternoon tea in our fabulous bar, restaurant or bistro.
