John Barleycorn

The John Barleycorn is a beautiful pub and restaurant with accommodation in the village of Duxford, just a few miles south of Cambridge. With a stunning thatched roof, this traditional English pub dates from the seventeenth century and was originally a coaching house.

Choose from a double or twin en suite room with a TV and tea / coffee making facilities. A delicious breakfast is also included. Enjoy lunch or dinner in the restaurant along with one of the many real ales on offer, in front of a roaring log fire.

A visit to the nearby Imperial War Museum at RAF Duxford is an absolute must-see for adults and kids alike, and the brave amongst us might enjoy a flying lesson in a famous Tiger Moth! There are many other interesting places to visit including Shepreth Wildlife Park or Audley End Miniature Railway for little ones, and Chilford Hall Vineyard for the grown-ups.
