Changing Tide

Changing Tide is a superb holiday property, ideally situated in the charming coastal village of Beadnell, within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house is family-friendly and sleeps up to 8 guests, with ample off-road parking and an enclosed rear garden area. The beach is just across the road and there are shops, pubs and eateries within easy walking distance of less than a mile.

You will find a light and airy interior, with spacious rooms and a host of contemporary facilities. On the ground floor is a fully-equipped kitchen with granite worktops and a dishwasher, as well as a utility area with washer dryer. In addition, there is a separate dining room and a cosy ‘snug’. The first floor sitting room has a television and gas fire and is a perfect place to relax and admire the sea views. There are 4 bedrooms; a king-size double with en suite shower room, 2 doubles and a twin room. There are 4 bathrooms altogether. Wifi is available throughout the property.

Crescent-shaped Beadnell Beach boasts golden sands and miles of dunes. It is popular for swimming, surfing, sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Snorkelling and scuba diving are also available. From the harbour, private boats can sail to the nearby Farne Islands, which provide sanctuary to puffins, terns and seals. The area also offers excellent walking and cycling routes. For those interested in history, nearby Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle are well worth a visit.
