Lower Micklin Farm

Lower Micklin Farm in Denstone offers 3 self-catering cottages, perfect for family holidays in the Staffordshire countryside. We are half a mile from Alton village and a 5-minute drive from Alton Towers. Lower Micklin is also the perfect base for walking holidays on the Staffordshire Way or in the Peak District National Park.

Our cottages can sleep up to 16 people altogether and are nestled in 10 acres of grassland, including a play area and safe open spaces. Each of our cottages sleep between 5 and 6, with a fully equipped kitchen, shower room, central heating and ample family space to relax. We include linen and towels. There is a small seating area outside each cottage with much larger spaces to play just beyond, including a ball games field. There are BBQ facilities available.

The cottages can be booked as a package for up to 16 people. In our Group Package is a communal Pavilion next door that provides space to dine together, host a small celebration, or even watch a film on our big screen. We have hosted everything from family holidays and celebrations, to walking groups.
