Built in 1847, The Colin Grazier Hotel was originally the town police station and is Grade 2 listed. It still has the original cell block; brief tours can be arranged on request. The police station closed in 1974, and the building was later developed into a hotel, named after Tamworth born war hero Able Seaman Colin Grazier.
During the daytime, the bar is an informal dining area with a menu ranging from traditional dishes to bar snacks. There are also 7 comfortable guest rooms, 6 with en-suite facilities and 1 with a private bathroom. All rooms are fully equipped with all that you will need for a comfortable stay including a fridge and microwave. Single occupancy from £29 to £35, Doubles from £39 to £50 and Family rooms from £50 to £79 per night.
