There is no through traffic and all rooms have a view of the famous city walls. Bed linen and towels are included in the tariff. The house is 5 minutes walk from Micklegate with its bookshops and restaurants. There is a very useful parade of shops in Bishopthorpe Road, 7 minutes away, and several of York's cosiest traditional pubs are nearby. Short breaks are available.
