Little Summerhill Cottages

Offering Visit England 4-Star accredited accommodation, Little Summerhill Cottages are situated in the Staffordshire Moorlands, only a mile from the A52 between Alton Towers and Stoke on Trent.

Beech Cottage comprises a kitchen / dining area / lounge, spacious bathroom and double bedroom; all on one level and accessible to most wheelchairs with a portable ramp. There is a digital TV and DVD player, a selection of reading material, DVDs and games available. Outside there are table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue, lawns to front and side.

Chestnut Cottage comprises kitchen / dining area / lounge, double bedroom and wetroom accessible to wheelchairs. The wetroom has a large shower area and a shower chair and toilet riser are available. Upstairs, the twin-bedded bedroom has 2 pull out guest beds, settees and TV, Freeview and DVD player. This makes the cottage suitable for 2 couples or a disabled person and carer. Outside there is a patio area with table, chairs and a parking space. Access is via seven steps or a ramp which gives wheelchair access to both Chestnut and Oak Cottage.

Oak Cottage comprises a kitchen, lounge with TV / DVD player and large dining area. The downstairs double bedroom has an en-suite. Upstairs, the galleried twin room is larger than in Chestnut Cottage and has an en-suite bathroom and TV / DVD player. There is also a chair bed. Outside there is a patio area with table and chairs, all accessed by a ramp to the car park about 30 metres away. Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets or children, although we do have a travel cot available for babies.
