The Kings Head Hotel

The Kings Head Hotel, which dates back to the 14th century, is situated in the centre of Ross-on-Wye. We are an AA 3-Star Hotel in a Grade II listed building. It has open fireplaces and a wealth of oak beams and our bar offers hand pulled traditional real ales and is CAMRA and The Good Pub Guide recommended. Our conservatory restaurant is a relaxing environment where our chefs use local market fresh produce, to offer a mouth-watering menu, with something to suit all tastes.

The hotel has 15 en-suite guest rooms with 4-poster, double, family, triple and twin rooms available. The original winding stairs date from the Queen Anne period. Our bedrooms are either on the first or second floor. Rooms have tea and coffee trays, biscuits, complimentary filtered water, direct dial telephones, Freeview television and Wifi. Our superior rooms are larger and have DAB iPod docking radios. We are dog friendly and most of our rooms can be booked to stay with your pooch. The bar and library are also dog friendly.

The hotel has its own car park which is accessed via the High Street. We can securely store cycles for you with prior notice.
