Sunnymead Farm Cottages offer Enjoy England 4-Star Gold Award self-catering holiday accommodation in High Hurstwood, close to the Ashdown Forest. The adjoined cottages, Russets and Pippins, have been converted to a high standard and are set in the grounds of the owners house, surrounded by 12 acres of gardens and orchards. Each cottage sleeps 2.

Russets has a fully-equipped kitchen / diner with everything you need for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen you ascend steep narrow stairs up to a galleried sitting room and double bedroom with 5ft bed, the bathroom has a sloping ceiling, both of which overlook woodland. There is a supply of books, games, tourist information and maps. We even supply you with binoculars and a bird book! Pippins is all on one level apart from 2 steps between the sitting / dining room and kitchen. The kitchen leads out to your own delightful courtyard garden planted with scented roses. The bedroom with 6ft zip and link bed overlooks the pretty, enclosed garden.

The Hurstwood, a pub serving good food, is just a 5-minute stroll away. The nearest railway station is 6 minutes drive with direct access to London in about 70 minutes. There is a village shop a couple of miles up the road and Uckfield is a 12-minute drive.
