Built in 1722 by Sir Thomas Medley, Buxted Park Hotel is a luxury AA 4-Red-Star East Sussex country hotel. We are set within 312 acres of parkland a short drive from Uckfield, near the Ashdown Forest. The Grade II listed Palladian mansion is a unique backdrop for weddings and special occasions, and we also have excellent business facilities.
The Dining Room is a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and The Crystal Bar and Coat of Arms Lounge are special features of any stay at Buxted Park, featuring decorative high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, full height windows with far reaching views of the estate and comfortable leather furniture.
We have 44 guest bedrooms, including 7 suites, where Georgian styling meets modern comfort. There are also large family bedrooms and classic bedrooms with beautiful views across the grounds. For special occasions, or just a well-deserved treat, it has to be one of our suites named after our most famous guests, including royalty and celebrities. Many bedrooms include spacious lounge areas, distinctive original features and one has a romantic 4-poster bed. We look forward to welcoming you to Buxted Park.
