The Braemar

The Braemar Guest House, built in Victorian times, was once a Gentlemans fine residence. We are located in Shanklin Old Village, the oldest part of the town, with its quaint thatched cottages, excellent pubs, restaurants and shops aplenty. There is also Shanklin Chine, which is a spectacular deep gorge, forming a beautiful valley leading down to the sea. We are within a 5-minute walk of the town centre and in the summer months, the train is available from the end of the road to take you down to the esplanade or into the town centre.

Offering bed and breakfast accommodation with home comforts, including our spacious and comfortable Olde Worlde Thatched lounge, you will enjoy staying at The Braemar. Our 11 immaculate and cosy guest rooms have en-suite facilities, TV, radio and tea / coffee-making facilities. We have single, double, family and ground floor rooms available. In the morning, we serve an excellent Full English breakfast and can cater for special diets by arrangement. Seated at individual tables in our spacious dining room and with waitress service, you will be assured of prompt and friendly service. We have a sun balcony and private car parking.
