The Bear Hotel

The Bear Hotel in Wantage is in a prime location overlooking the historic market place in the town, where it has been for nearly 500 years. This is the towns largest hotel, owned by Arkells Brewery, and run by your friendly hosts Jo and Keith. We are the perfect venue for food and drink and excellent accommodation in Oxfordshire. We have business facilities and can also cater for your special event including weddings, christenings and birthdays.

There are 34 en-suite guest rooms; with singles, double / twin and quad rooms available. We have free Wifi throughout The Bear. Breakfast encompasses a varied menu guaranteed to tantalise your tastebuds and set you up for the day! We can happily cater for different dietary requirements. There is car parking about 100 metres away in a long-stay car park which is free overnight.
