Lakeside Guest House

Lakeside, a beautiful Victorian house, is a family-run guest house that has now been offering bed and breakfast for over 30 years. We are located less than a mile from the city and well within walking distance, and there is free parking available. Alternatively, you can take a bus if you prefer, as the stop is just outside. There is a lovely park to the side of the guest house. Opposite, is a track leading down to the river enabling a scenic route into town.

We offer a range of accommodation including, studio, single, double, twin and family rooms, most of which are en-suite. Rooms come resourced with a Freeview TV, free Wifi, docking station / alarm clock, beverage tray, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The studio rooms come with microwave and fridge. Ironing facilities are available, and we can provide cots. Breakfast is served in our spacious and airy dining room. We offer both buffet and a la carte options including porridge, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast and / or a Full English breakfast or vegetarian equivalent. We look forward to welcoming you.
