The Highway Inn

Situated in Burford, Gateway to the Cotswolds, the Highway is steeped in history and offers the warm welcome of a traditional English pub with today’s comfortable modern touches. This 15th century coaching Inn is run by a team who are passionate about good food and good service and it is open every day for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinks.

On offer is a high-quality menu of seasonal and locally-sourced produce in an intimate setting, accompanied with fine wines and local ales, be that in the dining room, cellar or main bar with its beamed ceilings original stone fireplace. A sunny outdoor terrace and a secluded medi-evil courtyard with log fire provide social outdoor spaces for dining and drinks.

High quality food always includes a pie of the day, fresh fish and chips and some excellent steaks. As well as these traditional pub classics we also offer more refined options across our changing menu dependent on the season.
