The Moorings Hotel

The Moorings Hotel is just 5 minutes drive from Fort William town centre and situated on the banks of the Caledonian Canal at the famous Neptunes staircase locks. It is the perfect location for a short stroll along the canal-side or enjoying a more strenuous walk along the Great Glen Way. We have a cafe, bar, lounge bar and bistro as well as first-class accommodation. We are perfect for leisure or business trips, and can host your special event or conference.

We are an AA and Scottish Tourist Board 4-Star Hotel. Our 32 Bedrooms include Standard, Superior and newly-built Executive Bedrooms, with 3 of the Executive Bedrooms having balconies overlooking the Caledonian Canal. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, hospitality trays, hairdryers, free Wifi, satellite TV and a selection of quality toiletries. Breakfast includes a Continental buffet including fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, cheeses and cold meats followed by a Full Scottish breakfast.
