Burts Hotel

Burts Hotel is an excellent hotel run by the Henderson family, located in the town square of Melrose in the Scottish Borders. Set in a rustic and charming 18th century building, the hotel is the perfect base to explore the Scottish Borders region.

Burts is featured in The Good Hotel Guide 2018 and The Good Pub Guide (Scotland Dining Pub 2018). Our Bistro Bar has an extensive menu making use of the local Borders natural larder. The restaurant at Burts Hotel has been awarded two AA Rosettes every year since 1995 for its outstanding food and drink. Wine lovers might like to experience one of Burts wine tasting evenings. We also boast a range of 90 single malt whiskies listed on a dedicated menu.

Burts has 20 en-suite bedrooms; 13 double / twin rooms and 7 singles. All rooms have Freeview TV and radio, Wifi access, telephone, alarm clock, beverage tray, hairdryer and complimentary high-quality toiletries. Breakfast includes cereals, toast, fruit juice, porridge, croissant, cooked breakfast with vegetarian options.
