Clint Lodge

Built in 1869 by Lord Polwarth as the family shooting home, Clint Lodge is owned by the Duke of Sutherland, and is leased by Suzie. This is a beautiful country house, situated near Melrose in the Scottish Borders. We offer luxury bed and breakfast accommodation for individuals, families or private small conferences. Clint Lodge is licensed for weddings and we also host other celebratory events.

Traditional features include old wooden and tiled floors, original fireplaces and wood surrounds. The drawing room has an open log fire, and an adjoining sun lounge boasts breathtaking scenery. Guests can have dinner in the elegant dining room with its welcoming log burner. We are delighted to offer a pre-bookable 5 course meal for guests. Whenever possible, we use locally sourced produce and always, the finest ingredients.

There are five guest bedrooms; four with en-suite bathroom facilities, including two with original deep-fill baths. One of the super king / twin rooms has a private bathroom. Our rooms are twin or super king size with one single / small double room. All are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and televisions. Wi-Fi is available throughout Clint Lodge.
