Monorene

The Monorene is a traditional guest house set in the heart of Galashiels in the Borders. As soon as you step through the door, you will be surrounded by warm and genuine Scottish hospitality courtesy of Malcolm and Joan, the owners, who pride themselves on a welcoming, professional and amenable approach to ensure all their guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay in Galashiels.

The guest house has 6 bedrooms, with a mix of singles, twin and family rooms, including some with en-suite facilities. All the rooms are well appointed, clean and tidy, and have all the facilities you would expect, including facilities for making hot drinks and a television. Cots and highchairs are available.

The Monorene is found in a great location, opposite the train station where you can jump on a train and be in Edinburgh within an hour, and near to the bus station. Guests also benefit from free parking, a lock-up facility for bicycles and free Wifi connectivity.
