Lauderdale Hotel

The Lauderdale Hotel is a family-owned hotel situated in Lauder on the A68, just 25 miles south of Edinburgh. Originally built in the late 19th century, the Lauderdale is the oldest continually operating hotel in the area.

The public spaces include a choice of comfortable lounge bar with open fire, and a bistro area with large screens and dart boards. The hotel offers a range of comfortable rooms for single, double and family occupancy with high-quality linen, complimentary toiletries and well-stocked beverage trays. There is a small and comfortable residents lounge should you wish to relax in privacy. We offer excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner menus; freshly prepared using locally-sourced ingredients. There is also a large function suite, marquee or private dining room available for functions.

The Lauderdale is on the Southern Upland Way and regularly welcomes walkers. The hotel is also within walking distance of Thirlestane Castle.
