Abbey Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Abbey Cottage Bed and Breakfast, built in 1760, offers accommodation in the picturesque village of Fort Augustus close to the village pubs, restaurants, shops and central amenities, as well as the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. There is off-road parking for cars and motorbikes.

We have three double guest bedrooms and a single guest bedroom, all with full en-suite shower facilities and complimentary toiletries. All guest rooms come equipped with Freesat TV, Wifi, media streaming player with film access, Bluetooth speaker for music, beverage tray, alarm clock radio, hairdryer, bottle opener, plus Egyptian Cotton towels and face cloths, luxury cotton bedding and a safe (double rooms only). We can also provide a wine cooler and iron / ironing board.

Our new breakfast room provides stunning views of the Caledonian Canal, Meall Dubh peak and the centre of Fort Augustus and is used during the warmer months. We offer a buffet selection, full traditional cooked, vegetarian cooked, Dutch Bouncer, omelette and other seasonal specials. This room is also available as a quiet seated area to relax in during the evening.
