The Shelter Stone

The Shelter Stone is a traditional stone-built house built in 1906 located in the town of Aviemore and surrounded by the dramatic landscape of the Cairngorms National Park. This is a comfortable, self-catering holiday home, accommodating up to 13 guests with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, spacious living areas, a garden, ample off-road parking and a secure garage where you can safely store equipment. The house is just a few minutes walk from shops and eateries.

On the ground floor is a large entrance hall, sitting room with large bay window, open fire, fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast table, range cooker, large fridge/freezer, large dining room with a table which can seat 13 guests, fireplace, and utility room with washing machine. There is 1 family bedroom (1 double and one single bed) with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. The 5 upstairs bedrooms include a double with en-suite shower room, 2 further doubles, twin with en-suite shower room and another twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom and WC upstairs. A travel cot and 2 high chairs are provided.
