The Town House is a Scottish Tourist Board 4-Star Gold Award accredited bed and breakfast. This is a beautiful Victorian terraced house, centrally located, within easy walking distance of city centre attractions and with a private car park at the back of the house. It is only a c.15 minute walk from Princes Street and The Royal Mile, and we are close to the Cineworld Omniplex, Haymarket railway station and a bus stop that takes you directly to Edinburgh Airport.
The building retains much traditional charm with its Victorian-tiled hallway and drawing room with its ornate cornice. Constructed in 1876 as The Manse for the adjoining Church, the house consists of 3 floors. The bedrooms are situated on the first and second floors; 1 single, 1 twin and 3 double rooms, all with en-suite facilities, Wifi, hair dryer and facilities for making hot drinks. There are also ironing facilities available. Our breakfast menu includes a Full Scottish option, kippers, fishcake and porridge and can cater for special dietary requirements.
