Ideally situated in the village of Hesket-Newmarket, 7-miles from Wigton, and just 12-miles from Keswick, Denton House guest house offers a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and the perfect location to relax and unwind.

Each of our seven spacious bedrooms are all furnished to a high standard with comfort in mind and most rooms have stunning views over the surrounding countryside. After a restful sleep you can enjoy a delicious full English breakfast freshly cooked and served in the dining room. After a day of exploring the many attractions on offer you can relax in front of the log burning stove in our guest lounge, whilst enjoying a drink from our licensed bar. We are a haven for walkers and cyclists and packed lunches are available, and we also offer a cycle lock up service, drying facilities and off-road parking.

There is so much to do and see in the area not to mention the magnificent scenery in this picturesque part of the Lake District. Situated next door to the The Old Crown Public House and Hesket - Newmarket Brewery. We are only a short drive from historic Carlisle, Keswick and Ullswater, Hadrians Wall and the market town of Penrith and are very close to the Cumbrian Way walk.
