The Ship Inn

The Ship Inn, established in 1794, has a 4-Star rating awarded by the Scottish Tourist Board. Situated in a conservation area in Gatehouse of Fleet, the inn is surrounded by beautiful countryside, close to the coast and on the edge of the magnificent Galloway Forest Park with its lochs, forest trails and wildlife. You will find a warm welcome, an extensive drinks selection, including 100 different kinds of Scottish malt whisky and crafted gins as well as a fine restaurant serving an excellent seasonal menu.

The Ship Inn has 10 recently refurbished bedrooms with en-suite facilities. All rooms have a Smart TV, free Wifi, complimentary toiletries, bath robes, a coffee machine, kettle, biscuits and bottled water. We have standard doubles and superior suites, including a superior family suite with king-size bed and 2 single beds. For larger parties who wish to book all ten bedrooms, we can offer exclusive use of the inn. We offer a superb breakfast buffet every morning, with cold options followed by a traditional Scottish breakfast. Vegetarian options and lighter bites are available. We can also provide packed lunches if required.
