Craigdarroch Arms Hotel

Craigdarroch Arms is a friendly hotel and pub in Moniaive, a pretty village in a beautiful but remote location in the Cairn Valley on the Dalwhat Water, 7 miles west of Thornhill and 15 miles north west of Dumfries.

Tim, Claire and family offer warm hospitality in the Craigdarroch, which has been part of community life for over a century, and nowadays hosts everything from small-scale acoustic and blues festivals to movie nights! Guests can relax by the open fire in the lounge, have a chat in our traditional Scottish bar or play darts, cards and pool in the games room. There are home-cooked meals available 7 days a week, and a large beer garden for sunny days.

We have 7 comfortable and spotless en-suite rooms; twins, doubles, singles and a family room with a double and bunk beds. Prices include a full cooked breakfast or packed lunch if preferred.
