Queenshill Lodges

Queenshill Estate in Kirkcudbrightshire incorporates parkland, woodland and rolling hills near Castle Douglas. The estate once had a stately home and can still see the site where it once stood. Queenshill Lodges, our timber lodges, enjoy this tranquil setting with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. All are well-equipped and fully insulated and perfect for your short break or family holiday. The lodges sleep 3 to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms; a double and a single with bunk beds. There is an open-plan lounge / dining and kitchen and a shower room.



Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds of the 650-acre estate, including our walled garden. There are sign posted walking routes offering different challenges to walkers of all abilities. There is a grass tennis court, croquet lawn, fishing on the River Tarff,, walking routes, pony trekking, coffee shop and Barstobrick Visitor Centre, also on our estate.
