Barcloy Milk House

Set on vast working sheep farm 5 miles from Kirkcudbright, The Milk House is a former milking byre; now a spacious and bright fully-equipped self-catering cottage with lovely countryside views in a peaceful environment. The Milk House sleeps 4 guests (1 double and 1 twin bedroom); has 1 bathroom with a combined shower and bath. There is an open plan kitchen / dining / living area with wooden floors. The cottage is equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, TV, DVD player, hi-fi, coffee machine, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Washing facilities are provided in an adjacent building. There is free parking and Wifi throughout.

There is an enclosed garden with decking area, garden furniture and barbecue with views across to the Carsphairn hills. Walking can be enjoyed on the farm and a climb up Barcloy Hill (268m) boasts stunning views of the surrounding area and coastline.

The owners are on hand for friendly advice and are happy for guests to explore the farm or even get involved. Homegrown vegetables, eggs and honey are for sale depending on availability.
