Nether Barr Steading

Nether Barr Steading offers first-class self-catering accommodation in a tranquil location, close to Newton Stewart and Galloway Forest Park. This is a stone-built courtyard steading converted into 3-Star self-catering lodges. We are in an excellent location, situated near the A75 road, which runs from Dumfries to Stranraer. Guests will appreciate the 15 acres of surrounding farmland above the River Cree with stunning views to the Galloway Hills. We have ample car parking and storage for bicycles.

There are 6 tastefully converted lodges; The Bothy (sleeps 2), The Byre (sleeps up to 6), The Dairy (sleeps up to 4), The Hay Loft (sleeps up to 3), The Hen Hoose (sleeps 2-3) and The Harness Room (sleeps up to 4). Living areas are open-plan and include a lounge with Freeview TV / DVD and dining area with fully-fitted kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculately presented, and extra Z beds can be provided for the larger lodges if needed. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.
